Work to increase track capacity at Potter Logistics’ rail freight terminal in Ely, Cambridgeshire has completed. Building on over 25 successful years of rail freight distribution at Ely, 5.7 km of new track, spread across 13 sidings, is being introduced on 10 acres of the site for train storage. The terminal, which benefits from Potter Logistics’ existing rail connections, was originally bought by the company in 1981.

A chieving 30 per cent growth year on year, supplier of organic herbal teas and Wellbeing products Pukka Herbs is growing fast. To  meet an upsurge in demand for refurbished Flexi articulated trucks, Narrow Aisle Ltd is appealing for Flexi users whose fleet is due to be upgraded to contact them. Kalmar, part of Cargotec, is to deliver 34 Kalmar Gloria reachstackers to the European ro-ro terminal operator C.RO Ports SA. The order was booked in Cargotec's 2016 third quarter order intake. Deliveries are planned to take place between December 2016 and December 2017. The new Kalmar Gloria reachstackers will replace existing equipment and support C.RO Ports SA's and CLdN roro SA's growth plans over the next five years, driven by the need to efficiently handle increasingly larger vessels. The machines join a fleet that already contains 19 Kalmar reachstackers.
