New Container “Ideal For Large Loads of Components”

New contract with specialist metal manufacturer
Briggs Equipment is helping the UK's largest specialist manufacturer of zinc alloys to improve its environmental performance by switching its materials handling fleet from diesel to electric. The Brock Metal Company has taken delivery of three Hyster J-series counterbalanced electric forklift trucks. Briggs has supplied the machines on a five-year rental contract incorporating full servicing and maintenance support from its national engineering team.

Arvato extends its activities in Italy
Arvato Healthcare is expanding its activities in Italy and has opened a new distribution centre in Calcinate, near Bergamo. Since beginning of August the local warehouse has 3,500 square metres of additional space for dispatching pharmaceutical products. “Our portfolio in Italy comprises services ranging from warehousing, pick and pack services, transport and returns management to ‘Bollini handling’ – which means pharmaceutical product packaging being scanned and the information passed on to the Italian authorities, in accordance with the health ministry’s requirements”, explains Maria Rizzuto, Project Manager at Arvato Healthcare Italy.
