DUNKERQUE-PORT POSTS NEW GRAIN RECORD
After the historic records of the previous grain campaigns in 2013-2014 (2.4 Mt) and 2014-2015 (3.09 Mt), the Port of Dunkirk has seen the advantages offered by its operator and infrastructures confirmed with record traffic of 3.226 Mt for the 2015-2016 campaign.
2.32 Mt of wheat was shipped to the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Central America, and 0.77 Mt of barley to Asia and the Middle East.

Cargo Owners Sign up to Haulage Miles Campaign
Peel Ports says it has secured 100 advocates for its Cargo200 initiative and is urging other cargo owners in the North West to add their weight to the campaign. Among the latest names to provide their support are leading TV and internet retailer QVC and Ultimate Products, which sources and distributes branded consumer goods from 27 countries to more than 450 high-street retailers in the UK.

Advanced Turbo Diesel Engine for UniCarriers GX series
Since April 2016, UniCarriers has an optional new combustion engine with no diesel particulate filter in its range, for its counterbalance trucks in the GX series. With the Advanced Turbo Diesel (ATD) ZD-30, the international forklift truck manufacturer meets the increasing demand for engines that allow straightforward maintenance and cause no forklift truck downtimes due to regeneration of diesel particulate filters.
